About Fine Arts & Cultural Education Society

The Fine Arts & Cultural Education Society is a collective of volunteers committed to celebrating cultural heritage and fostering opportunities for creative expression. We aim to enrich our community through creative expression, cultural awareness, and accessibility to artistic experiences for all people in the Rio Grande Valley and beyond.

Our Mission

to inspire people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities by facilitating meaningful community engagement through educational programs, cultural events, and partnerships that spotlight the region’s rich diversity.

Where We Are

While FACES was founded in Edinburg, Texas, our members and events encompass communities across the Valley, including McAllen, Harlingen, Brownsville, and surrounding areas.

What we Do

At FACES, we believe the arts are more than performances or exhibitions—they are a powerful way to bring people together. We partner with local organizations to bring arts and culture education into the community.
